The Drymat® EO+ system complies with all requirements, and every interested party can, by appointment, explore Drymat company's production site along with all the materials used – right in our production facility. For this, we regularly offer tours in our production facility. Please, use our contact form if you are interested.
The Drymat control unit with its state-of-the-art RISC chip technology, LCD display, overvoltage protection, and high-quality SMD components* – everything is MADE IN GERMANY. Every single component has been built according to the Level 3 industry standard (DIN standard). This means: the maximum possible quality level in industrial production according to the DIN standard. Only high-quality SMD components* find use, which have the highest thermal constancy and the highest heat stability and which are utilized, for example, in the space or implant technology (medical implants). This is the only reason why Drymat®Systems is also able to offer its customers a 20-year warranty for Drymat® control units.
Our experiments aim to simulate the ageing of the Drymat M2030 electronic device in a period of approximately 30 years by using a suitable test. The ageing test was conducted according to the standard DIN EN 61709: “Electric components – Reliability – Reference conditions for failure rates and stress models for conversion”, using the Arrhenius equation.
The highly sophisticated self-diagnostic system shows all information in the form of messages on the LCD display. The state-of-the-art RISC chip technology comes in handy here. The diagnostics and problem solving are easily and conveniently handled. In addition, a special safety system causes the device to switch off in the event of a too high voltage on the supply line (for example, because of a lighting). That's a built-in automatic self-protection system which never needs a fuse changing! Furthermore, we are in permanent contact with our engineers: every little innovation that would bring us a competitive advantage in the market is implemented in a short term – exclusively well-motivated regional experts conduct research and coordinate with one another, and swiftly implement technical innovations quickly. (There advantage is our drawback: sometimes we do not make it in time to print new materials and update the existing ones.) And when a control unit is finally produced, there is still a long way to go: each board will be x-rayed and examined with optical lasers – that's the only way we can convince our clients throughout Europe of long-term operation of our system.
Last but not least, the Drymat®System is installed in the use case "damp walls". Here we use only the best materials, the TiCu Clad® anodes. These are titanium electrodes, with an additional noble metal coating. The anodes are covered, by the process of electroplating, with a galvanic coating that consists of platinum. Among the processes used here, this one is particularly complex and thus costly. By the way, our experience with these materials is over 30 years.
Unfortunately, the procurement costs of these exclusive materials are very high due to ever-increasing world market prices, so that here we are also bound to the current raw material prices. Nevertheless, we recommend you not to cut costs in the wrong areas.
Costs and prices for Drymat dealers:
ANODE (0.2–25 m long, platinum-coated, coating thickness of 40 g/m²)
Price for the federal government: on request (varies depending on the world market price)
KATHODE V4A (1 m long)
Price per piece: on request (varies depending on the world market price)
*The English term "surface-mounted device" (SMD) is a technical term used in the electronic engineering. These components (such as resistors, capacitors, quartzes, diodes, transistors, coils or integrated circuits) do not have any wire bonding; instead, they are soldered directly to a printed circuit board with their conductive pads. The related process is called surface-mounting technology (SMT). Source: wikipedia.de
